Modern interpretation of the William Shakespeare play ‘King Lear’ starring Patrick Stewart and Colm Meaney. Set in 19th century Texas, John Lear is a wealthy cattle baron with three daughters. In his later years Lear decides to divide his land up between his daughters resulting in disastrous consequences.

Longest Week
Conrad Valmont is the over-educated, under-employed heir to the Valmont Hotel fortune. Though he has spent most of his adult life enjoying a playboy lifestyle on a diet of Tom Collins cocktails, at 40 years old, he finds himself suddenly cut off from his allowance and tossed out into the unforgiving streets of the Upper West Side. Mike Brett and Steve Jamison direct this feature documentary following the fortunes of the American Samoa soccer team, officially the worst international football side in the world. The nadir of American Samoa’s soccer career arrived when they lost 31-0 to Australia in 2001, the heaviest loss ever recorded in a FIFA match. The result was in line with Samoa’s status as the lowest ranked team in the FIFA listings, but the islanders were determined to improve their fortunes…

Brick Mansions    Set in a run-down Detroit City, where crime is rife, the local authorities have built a containment wall around derelict brick mansions which are being used by ruthless criminals. Police officer Damien Collier goes undercover to infiltrate Tremaine’s gang and put a stop to his plan to destroy the city. Damien also has a personal vendetta against the crime boss, who murdered his father, as does former convict Lino, whose girlfriend has been kidnapped by Tremaine. Damien and Lino form an unlikely partnership as they attempt to seek vengeance while preventing the destruction of the city.

Jarhead 2: Field Of Fire    While embarking on a mission to supply a remote outpost with resources, Corporal Chris Merrimette is approached by a Navy SEAL unit to help out on an important operation. As the mountain erupts and quickly destroys the city of Pompeii as well as its surrounding communities, Milo must track down his one true love before all hope of survival is annihilated

Frank
An offbeat comedy about a young wannabe musician, Jon, who finds himself out of his depth when he joins an avant-garde pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank, a musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head, and his terrifying bandmate Clara.

Sabotage    Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as the commander of a DEA task force in this action thriller. A close-knit group of DEA agents, led by John ‘Breacher’ Wharton, raids a drug cartel safe house which results in the arrest of a major crime lord and the discovery of a large stash of money. When ten million dollars of the cash disappears the task force falls under suspicion and John realises one of his agents might be responsible. Can he bring down the cartel and save his family?

The Hypnotist    When a young woman and her parents are murdered, the detective in charge of the case consults with a famous psychiatrist in an attempt at understanding why the killer targeted the whole family, with only the son managing to escape. As the psychiatrist reveals his unconventional methods of hypnotism he places the comatose son into a trance in the hopes of re-enacting the fateful night

Only Lovers Left Alive Set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangier, an underground musician, deeply depressed by the direction of human activities, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover. In Secret    A romantic thriller set in the lower depths of 1860s Paris, IN SECRET is a tale of obsessive love, adultery and revenge based on Emile Zola’s scandalous novel, ‘Therese Raquin’.

Lost Patrol    During World War II, Brazil was an ally of the United States, England and France. At the time there were directed over 25 thousand soldiers from the BEF (Brazilian Expeditionary Force) to fight the enemies, represented by the Axis: Germany, Italy and Japan. Almost all soldiers came from poor backgrounds, and were mostly unprepared for combat, they had to learn in practice to fight for survival. After suffering a collective panic attack at the foot of Castle Hill, the soldiers Guimarães, Tenente, Piauí  and Laurindo try to get down the mountain, but end up missing the others. When they were reunited, they had to decide to return to the battalion and are at risk of facing court-martial for dereliction of duty, or return to the position the night before and at risk of facing a surprise attack of the enemy. That’s when the journalist Rui, tells about an active minefield and they think this is a chance to redeem the mistake they committed, but much is yet to happen and the war is far from over.

Postman Pat – The Movie    The world’s favourite postie makes his big screen debut in this CGI-animated children’s feature. Leaving behind those nearest and dearest to him when his head is turned by the chance of fame on a TV talent show, Pat  seems certain to discover that there is more to life than the lure of wealth, celebrity and some smart new clothes, and that the problems they cause are no match for the love to be found with his friends and family back in Greendale.

The Wind Rises    Hayao Miyazaki writes and directs this Japanese animated feature from Studio Ghibli. As a young boy, the bespectacled Jiro Horikoshi  dreams of flying a plane but when he learns he will be unable to become a pilot due to his poor eyesight, he instead decides to be an aircraft designer. On September 1st 1923 Jiro is travelling by train when the Great Kanto earthquake strikes. He assists fellow passenger Naoko and her maid who suffers an injury. He doesn’t meet Naoko again till many years later after he has graduated university and has worked on various designing jobs, without finding much success. The two fall for each other and become engaged but Naoko is suffering from tuberculosis…

Sniper: Legacy    A rogue gunman is assassinating high-ranking military officers one by one. When Gunnery Sgt. Brandon Beckett is informed his father, legendary shooter Thomas Beckett  has been killed, Brandon springs into action to take out the perpetrator.
