Yoga Around the World : Family Yoga Sessions at the Central Library
Come and join us for an adventure around the world exploring the animals of different continents through yoga, story and images.
Each session will explore a different area and end with a story from a different region. Have you ever been a lion in the Savannah? A penguin waddling in the snow? A wildcat in the mountains of Scotland? No? Well, here’s your chance!
Yoga is a great way to incorporate the physical and the mental in a way that really works for children and adults too. We will have breathing, postures and games as well as access to books and information from the library on our various places and animals.
Sessions are aimed at 5-9 year olds but everyone is welcome. Parent or guardian must be present. Come in comfortable clothes and bring a small towel or blanket for sitting and lying down on.
27th and 29th October
Spaces are limited so booking is essential.
Tickets are only £2 per child available in person from the Central Library or alternatively you can phone the Central Library on 01793 463238 or visit http://www.womancreated.co.uk to reserve a place.
