A Midsummer’s Eve – Homage to Shakespeare

To celebrate 400 years since the death of the great Bard, Central Library pays homage to Shakespeare with a Midsummer’s Eve of Prose, Poetry, Drama and Music – with words of wisdom from the Bard as well as other writers reflecting on a Summer’s Eve.

Prose & Drama: enacted & read by Molly Campbell & Stu Jackson

Poetry: read by Cristina Newton & Sam Loveless

Classical & Flamenco Guitars: performed by Bob Jacks & Haydn Bonadie

This event will take place either in the Central Library Court Yard (weather permitting) otherwise the 2nd Floor Reading Room area.
