Swindon Artswords presents
An Evening of Stories
7pm Swindon Central Library
Tuesday 30th January
£5 (£4) Tel 01793 466454
Once upon a time, on a chilly winter night, four fabulous storytellers came to the warm and cosy Reading Room in a prize-winning central library to tell prize-winning tales from far and wide, for you, for him, for her, and for everyone.
Would you like to join us?
Do you know John Row, who looks great in the snow? Fresh back from Romania, he’ll have a beard-full of stories and tales to tell.
Author of Wiltshire Folk Tales, Kirsty Hartsiotis knows a few, folk tales. She comes to tell some, in Swindon, all the way from Suffolk.
Oft seen on high hills with great hound at his heel, Chris Park can tell stories in daylight or dark but, with word play to write home about, they always shine bright.
Storyteller and singer, Kathy Sterry has a distinctive way of telling tales, with a choice of words that that are a delight to be heard.
MC Matt Holland, founder of Swindon’s lovely little LitFest, will keep time and good order, and may throw in a tale or two of his own.
Join us, for an evening of surprises, or at least surprising stories!
And if you have one of your own, bring it along, just in case . . .
Tickets are £5 (£4 Library members and concessions) and are available from the Central Library or by calling 01793 466454
